Two Corrency projects supported citizens in the Ostrava-South district. The first one was intended to support families with children in purchasing hobbies and extracurricular activities, the second to support the development of culture. Thanks to the town hall, citizens were able to take advantage of the grant and save up to 90% of the price of hobbies and up to 50% of the price of tickets to cultural facilities.
"I am glad that this project has come into being. Although my husband and I both work we have 1 child in elementary school and 2 students in high school. Everything is getting more expensive and I used the money to send 2 more kids to camp this summer and now my daughter on a hiking trip. I'm glad something was created for working people too. Thank you."
"Thank you to the district management for their involvement in Corrency, thanks to this project we have saved a considerable amount of money on the sports clubs my sons attend. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we would be delighted if the event is repeated."
"It was a very welcome help to parents to fund their children's sporting activities and had a very positive response - enabling more children to play sport regularly!"
"Excellent program, not only for attracting new clients, but also for supporting business development and expansion."
"Experience has shown that both projects make sense and help. We want children in the South to have as many opportunities as possible to develop their talents, play sports, create or just play and have fun with others. And we also want to help parents manage the costs associated with these leisure activities."
